Smoke machines typically use dry ice to create its effects, however what happens is the dry ice (solid carbon dioxide) is vaporised and given off as a "smoke" effect: As of current times minimising the production of CO2 into the atmosphere is a very serious topic and our products achieve this by using tap water at high pressure to give the same effect giving a more affordable option!
